Bringing Gemini to life

What would Google Gemini look like if it existed beyond the screen?

We created a self-initiated animation to capture and demonstrate the experience of using it. The project images Gemini as a living digital experience, translating its personality into a world of motion, sound and storytelling.

Every scene, transition, pixel and sound was intentionally designed to produce a video that stays true to Google’s design language, capturing the purpose and feel of Gemini.

Designing the sound

I was responsible for creating the music and sound design for the project, developing an audio experience that could support and elevate the visual narrative.

The sound needed to feel intelligent and futuristic without becoming cold or mechanical. To achieve this, I created a sonic palette that combined evolving textures, subtle rhythmic movement and carefully crafted transitions to reflect Gemini’s ability to transform ideas into something tangible.

Every sound was design to complement the motion on screen, reinforcing moments of discovery, interaction and progression. From subtle interface details to larger cinematic moments, the audio helps guide the viewer through Gemini’s world

A Collaborative Process

From the earliest concepts to the final render, the project was shaped through close collaboration between visual design, animation, music and sound.

Each discipline informed the others throughout production, allowing us to create a cohesive experience where every element feels connected. This process helped ensure that the final piece communicated not just what Gemini does, but what it feels like to use.
